Resource Guides to Presenting Your Information

Presentation Resources

The project that you Create from your research can take many forms. Your teacher may assign a specific format, or you may be able to choose how to present your research. If you do not know what the format of your presentation is to be, your chance for success is going to be low. As my old archery coach used to say, "If you shoot at nothing, you will hit it."

In addition to the product that you create, you may also be assigned to Present your research to an audience. It is important to know your audience when planning your presentation.

An important component of the research process is to create an original product that responds to the problem or task, and to present the information for the solution to an audience.

There are both low and high tech projects and presentations that your teacher will assign. Use the Web links in the chart to create and present your information. Your teacher or fellow students may find the rubrics/scoring guides a big help in aiming toward your presentation goal.

Inspiration™ is a software learning tool you can use when planning research projects and considering presentation options. Here is an example of what Inspiration™ can do for you in planning your project:  Presentation Options.
