Citation Maker History

Citation Maker was a joint project of the OPEN Clearinghouse and the Oregon School Library Information System (OSLIS). It was initially developed in 1999, revised in 2003, and again in 2004. The information literacy "how to" lessons were written by media specialists working on the OPENC/OSLIS projects.

Citation Maker revisions to reflect changes in the 7th ed MLA Handbook were made during the summer of 2009 by Jen Mauer, Mary McClintock and Marlene Hagen.

Citation Maker revisions to reflect changes in the 6th ed of APA Publications Manual during the summer of 2010 by Jen Mauer, Deanna Draper and Marlene Hagen.

Revisions from 2004-8 have been made through a contract with the iSchool at the University of Washington.
