Computer and card catalogs both give the same information: where to find a book in your library and information that will help you decide if you want to choose the book.To find a book on the shelf, you need to know the call number and the title . This will help you find the book on the shelf.

Use your school's card catalog and search for a book on dogs. Remember, non-fiction books contain factual information. Select a non-fiction book that you'd like to look at.
